Photos from the Quidditch World Cup Tournament played in Florida on April 13th and 14th, 2013.
Teams from all over the US and several foreign countries competed for the 6th World Title in Quidditch.
The winners this year:
Division 1 First Place - University of Texas at Austin
Division 1 Second Place - UCLA
Division 2 First Place - Sam Houston State University
Division 2 Second Place - Loyola University
For those that don't know, Quidditch is based on the game in the Harry Potter book and movie series, with some adaptations to account for non-flying brooms. It has become popular on college campuses and the players take it very seriously. They also have video replay for some of the championship matches.
